Thank you for responding with all that great information about Wilbur. My Grandmother, Gladys Irene Huxtable was Wilbur’s daughter. She was born on July 03 1904 in Oshawa, Ontario. She just passed away last year at the age of 104. Her mother was Florence Erridge of Oshawa. Florence married in 1908 to Orville MacInally.

Hello

I have just discovered that Wilbur Leslie Ogden was my great grandfather. Suffice to say that it has been a long search and the answer to a family mystery. Wilbur died in 1928 in Buffalo, New York. Do you have any other info. regarding his life or death? I do know he was a fireman in 1901 in Ontario. Anything else would be gratefully received.

Orange Munroe married Jane Ferguson UEL Dau of Rozel Ferfuson UEL first clerk of the town of PIcton Jane died in 1879 bu in Orono Cemetary and Orange died in 1893 and is buried in Oshawa Union Cemetary

Very sorry for the delay in replying. Grace Lumsden was my greatgreatgrandmother on my father’s mother’s side. My father’s mother was Elizabeth Jane Drummond
(imigrated to Canada to wed my grandfather in 1919…her mother was Jane C Wilson and Jane’s mother was Grace Lumsden.

Grace Lumsden married David Wilson in 1854 Kennoway, County Fife, Scotland. Do not have a birth date for Grace but David was born in 1829 same place they
married.

I have not researched my Lumsden line further at this point but when I do I will keep you in mind. I did some Ancestry.UK searches and came up with this census.
Not really sure if it is your line. The George is out by about 10 years but mother is Isabella and father James. Do you have Ancestry on line subcription if not it is well worth it.

Hi Carol, I am glad I came across your website! My husband and I started our family tree about 2 years ago now, we had a lot of information from his Grand Father and the Van Wart family seems to be well researched. Jacob Van Wart and Mary Fowler are my husbands 5th great grand parents. I was searching fro any additional information on Mary Fowler…but can not find anything yet.

Thank you for writing. I am sorry to say that Grace Lumsden is the only Lumsden I have. I have not researched her line.
She married into my grandmothers line but I have nothing else on her. It is possible we are connected but again I have
not gone further yet. Will keep your information and when I do research on the Lumsden line will contact you if we are

HI! I am researching my family tree of the lumsdens who migrated to australia. My grandfather was samuel risk lumsden who married irene beiger in NSW australia. I am researching his forefathers. I am up to george lumsden born 20th april 1807 in markinch, fife scotland, his parents were james lumsden and isabella bett. This is where my researchstops. Is this the same george that i have? thanks
